10 years ago, a group of Italian breeders committed to the Akita breed and its developement in Europe, decided to organize a meeting with Japanese experts. They succeeded - meeting called Akita Cup took place in Italy 9 times alrelready and once in Germany.

Italian initiative spreads wider and breeders from all over the Europe come to attend Akita Cup. These meetings are great opportunity to exchange opinions and experience, to listen to interesting seminars and finally get your dog judged by Japanese specialists. It can be also an occasion to become more acquainted with fascinating Japanese Culture - so far you could take part in a tea ceremony or admire Japanese martial art displays. As a part of the event, gala dinner is organized, where everyone can get to know each other.
